Who to call
Hi, so not sure if this is THE month or not, but i got a faint positive this morning. That being said, i was on a break from the RE. Do i call them and tell them im pregnant or just go to my regular doctor?

If you're on a break from your RE, I'd just call the OB/Gyn. Hope this is it for you!

Re: Who to call
When I have gotten positives between cycles, I just went to my RE. They will usually run bloodwork including progesterone and beta and will monitor you until around 8 weeks I believe. I would rather go to them bc most OBs do not see you until around 8 weeks and you want to make sure your levels are okay.

Who to call
I would call your RE. If you need Progesterone or something your RE will put you on the right meds. OBGYNs don't see you for a while into your pregnancy.

Wow . . . I didn't realize that the OB normally wouldn't get you in. I couldn't get to my RE for my betas, so my OB got me in right away and was very helpful and comforting during the whole process. You learn something new every day.
Sorry for giving you bad advice!

Re: Who to call
I think it depends how long you've been on a break from your RE and whether your OB would get you in right away. If it's just a month or 2 break, I'd call the RE. If it was like a year, they won't see you.
