Westchester girls

My BF just found out she is pregnant! She recently moved to Westchester and is clueless about the hospitals and doctors there.

Which hospital do you consider to be excellent? She needs an OB/GYN also that takes Health Republic insurance. She is located in the southern end near the Bronx.

I am in lower Westchester and I delivered at Weiler hospital in the Bronx. It is one if the regional perinatal care centers ( top level NICU). The nurses were really nice and all the rooms are private. I only saw a maternal fetal medicine specialist- Dr. Ellen Landsberger-I would highly recommend her.
Many people really like Lawrence hospital in Bronxville- it is a little more "upscale"- they serve the new parents a gourmet dinner the last night there.

I live in lower Westchester & delivered at White Plains hospital. My son actually decided to arrive at 27weeks 2days GA and spent 78 days in the NICU. The L&D, Maternity & NICU nurses were all wonderful. My husband and I were very impressed with the NICU doctors too.

Gave birth at Phelps memorial hospital in Sleepy Hollow with Dr. Distifano AMAZING she was unbelievable and I was able to give birth naturally like I had planned. She's awesome all the doctors from the Sleepy Hollow medical group are great

ETA: St. John's and Lawrence might be closer to her with a very reputable list of docs.
