Current mortgage rates?
Out of curiosity, does anyone know what the current, 30 year, fixed rates are?

For conventional or FHA?
I believe for conventional they are still mid-4s (obviously it varies a bit depending on individual qualifications, and also fluctuates day by day). This would be for a residence. For an investor property it's always a bit higher (like maybe half a percentage point).
FHA would be a little lower (but of course pmi offsets any benefits from a lower rate).

Wow! We closed on our house in March 2013 at 3.6. I can't believe how much rates have increased in that amount of time.

Wow! We closed on our house in March 2013 at 3.6. I can't believe how much rates have increased in that amount of time.
we closed in July 2013 at 3.5, we locked in 90 days prior within a week of us locking the rates were at 4 and by the time we closed 4.5--we got SO lucky, that said 4.5 is still low when you consider what they have been historically.

We just locked in a 30-year conventional mortgage at 4.25. Overall a great rate but not as good as the super low rates available last year. Still, we bought our current home in June 2009 at 4.375 so 4.25 for our new home is slightly better.

we closed in june 2012 at 3.625% (conventional) -- interesting to see it went up

I just got this on a FHA- my conventional rate was much higher- 5.15%
my credit isn't perfect

We locked in at 4.5 and that's with my husband not having a "good" credit score. I wish they went with mine since it was "excellent". That 4.5 was with a slight discount bc I work for the company.
