Went to a Baptism today
And it was one of the hardest things I've ever had to sit through. Listening to the priest go on about how God has blessed the parents with the babies being baptized just about ripped my heart out. Then, at the party, DH was holding the baby and got spit up on his shirt. DH's friend was teasing that it looked like he was lactating and asked me if we had news to share. I barely made it to the ladies room before the tears came. It was a rough day.

 I'm so sorry.
When I go to baby related functions, I take a Xanax or 2. It's the only way I can numb myself enough to keep from crying.

I'm so sorry. We have all been there. Sadly the bathroom is my friend at these type of events. It never gets easier.

ugh sorry. i felt the same way when i went to a first birthday party recently. i just took a few deep breaths and tried to think of something else but i know it's so hard!!!

Went to a Baptism today
Thanks, everyone! It helps to be able to vent to people who understand. DH was the Godfather, so I had no choice but to attend. I did manage to hold it together when another of DH's friends was telling us about how his wife wants to start TTC, but he doesn't want kids, etc. I think by that point I was just on auto pilot.
