Look into tea tree oil if you want a natural solution

This sounds strange but also make sure he's washing his back AFTER he washes his hair. I used to break out on my back and realized that I was breaking out from conditioner.
To the poster above...were you in assateague?

I was going to mention the body wash, but I didn't know about the spray.
For your face, a salicylic acid acid toner will help, but I didn't know how to suggest getting toner on your back.

The Neutrogena spray didn't work for me personally. I had a wedding coming up where I was a BM and I used the spray to clear up some pimples on my back and it didn't work.
This is the Tea Tree line from The Body Shop I mentioned above. The body wash worked.

Re: spinoff: skind care for your back
I was breaking out a lot at one point and switched to anti-bacterial soap(Dial yellow bar soap). It really makes a difference. My brother was using a prescription one and that is how I got the idea.

To the OP, have you tried using an astringent on his back? He might need your help[1

I have heard that really works well too! And a very easy fix.

It made me want to buy a camper and stay on the island. The only scary part was how many bees swarm the horses. DS and DH were petrified to go too close to the horses because of the bees.
