Recommendation for a workout program for a newbie?
Looking for some workout recommendations. I know I've heard of the insanity, t25, etc but don't know much about them. I'm looking for a workout that doesn't take too much time in the day. I would like to lose like 25-30 and desperately need to get rid of fat on my stomach, thighs, and butt. I'm scared of some of these programs I hear about because I'm so out of shape and know I'll be out of breath in like a minute. Would love some recommendations!

I love the Jillian Michaels Total body revolution. It's a 90 day program. I too was so out of shape when i started and just started out very slowly and worked my way up. It's 30 minutes 6 days a week.

Losing weight is 90% diet. And if you really feel like you are out of shape I'd just start walking.
You also can't spot lose so I suggest just really focusing on your diet and slowly start adding in anything.

Re: Recommendation for a workout program for a newbie?
I love Pilates for toning. I have the Crunch - Pick Your Spot Pilates DVD which I really like because it's broken down into 4 10-minute workouts: abs, thighs, butt and total body. If I have enough time I do all 4, but when I'm in a rush I'll just do 2 of them.

Try a jump rope challenge. Start with 25 jumps, after a few days, go to 35, then a few more days, then a few days doing 50, then 75...keep going.
But yeah, it's diet. That's a big part!

I was going to suggest Jillian Michaels as well. Her 30 day shred is really great for a newbie!

I do T25 every morning and it's a great workout. Not as crazy had as p90x or insanity.

I started 30 day shred a couple of weeks ago and it is perfect for someone like me that never works out.

Re: Recommendation for a workout program for a newbie?
Since several recommended Jillian's 90 day program, just wanted to throw it out there, that I have it and want to sell it since I go to the gym and don't use it anymore. FM me if you are interested.
