Do you find that if you DON'T use a basecoat...
that your manicure lasts longer or shorter?
I ask because I skipped the base coat and my nails have lasted a WEEK!!! I'm shocked!

Longer.
I stopped using base coat a LONG time ago because of it.
I think the polish adheres to bare nails better than to a base coat.

I wear wraps now but when I didn't, my manicures lasted a lot longer when I didn't use a base coat.

It lasts longer for sure, but your nails are more prone to stain.

I used the white vinegar trick I learned about on here instead of a base coat and my mani lasted a week!

Longer , I find when I do them myself if i put a base coat on it makes it too think and it peels right off.

Same thing happened to me, the polish would peel right off. Stopped using a basecoat and they last over a week

It grew out by my cuticles before it chipped!! I couldn't believe it!!!
