Other Job Options?
So DH is a secondary education teacher, getting excessed - he is one of 2, both in common core subjects, both have been there a long time (13 years for DH) ... I have more to say about this but am biting my tongue!!!
Anyway, he is and has been looking for a new job - he has a BA in English and a Masters in Library Science. He has also been the Media Specialist (he is still in the library one period a day as well as after school).
He has been looking into other teaching jobs, of course as well as library positions in every kind of school ,including colleges, but as you probably know jobs are scarce around here! He is looking in other states as well and upstate too.
I am not sure of the point of this thread lol Are there any type of jobs we might be overlooking? He is wanting to get out of teaching, and he does better with older kids than younger kids. If anyone knows of any openings, please lmk. Or suggestions. Thank you.

What about applying at the public library since he has a degree in library science

First off, so sorry to hear that he is getting let go after so many years. What about jobs at curriculum companies? Scholastic, Pearson, houghton mifflin or a museum position

Just wanted to say thank for the advice. He is applying to a lot of library jobs. He applied to a few curriculum jobs as well - he hadn't even thought about those companies
