breasfeeding and period
i nursed my first daughter only till she was 5 months and i dont' remember when i got my period after i stopped nursing/pumping. i'm nursing my second daughter and she' s almost 1. i know this will not be the same for everyone but when did you get your period when you stopped BF.

My period came back while my D was on BM (I pumped) @ 11 weeks.

Mine came back 4 months pp; I EBF 12 months. I guess my pumping sessions at work weren't as frequent as feeding would have been.

DD is almost 13 months and still no sign. I BF 3x a day and pump 2x. I'm starting to ween off my pump so I'm sure it'll come soon. I am soo not looking forward to it!!

I got my period 3mos pp and am still nursing dd at 20mos! I am still so annoyed I get it, and so regularly too.

I just got my period back yesterday at almost 8m pp. I've been cutting back a pump each week and fully stopped 2 weeks ago.

@ 9.5 months and I was still breastfeeding 5-6 times a day. I've gotten it the time so far, it's been super wacky! 40 days then 14!!!

I cut way back on pumping in the last month (just twice a day now) & have been having period-like cramps this last week so maybe it'll come soon... I am 9 months pp.

I was still nursing both times I got my period back. After my first, it came back at 11 months PP and after my sec9nd, 9 months PP.

I got mine back with both DD and DS around 13 or 14 mo. I believe 14 mo is the average time for AF to return when BF.
