Recommend your baby carrier
Okay, I am on kids #3 and #4 (TWINS! ) and with the two of them and a very active almost 3 yo, I am feeling the need for a baby carrier. That said, I HATED the baby carrier with my first two (singletons). I just didn't like the feeling. Felt like I always had to put my hand under the baby anyway (defeating the purpose!) and felt like both myself and the baby were getting too warm and the baby always looked uncomfortable to me. I also worried about how good it was for them physically (i.e. positioning). However, I think it would really help me get some things done and give my 3 yo a little more attention beause at least my hands would be free some of the time.
Can anyone recommend a baby carrier that they liked? Not attempting to carry them both (do they even make baby carriers for twins), so one for a singleton is fine. :) The Balboa Baby one by Dr. Sear's looks comfortable and a friend of mine registered for a Chicco one. The one i had was the Bjorn and I did not like it as well as one from Europe that a family member who lives there got me (the Manduca). That was 5 years ago, so I am sure there new options out there.
SO basically, I don't think I like baby carriers, but I am pretty sure I need one. Any suggestions!?!?

Boba 3g or the Ergo. I have the boba and love it, still using it for my 21 month old singleton. I had 3 other carriers for my twins and hated them. The Ergo is very similar to the boba and I've worn that for a full day and loved it.

I have the Ergo and I really like it. It has a wide waist band and it feels secure. I am still using the infant insert and DD does get warm after awhile.

I have used the ergo with DS. So far, I like it. He is only 3 weeks old.

loved the ergo with my son! very comfortable to wear, and you can wear them in the font facing you, or on your back when they get a little older. they are a alittle pricey, but they have a high weight limit, so you get a lot of use out of them. We even used ours up until last fall when DS was almost 3 years old on hikes and stuff

Re: Recommend your baby carrier
DD loves our ergo carriers. I sometimes put my arms under her for added support but I feel she is plenty secure hands free.

Ergo. The Moby wrap is great too and I used it a lot w/ my DD. I don't like putting newborns in the carrier or wrap...I feel I never do right and their head droops down (they are supposed to be chin up). Even in the infant insert Ergo, my DSs head would drop forward once he fell asleep no matter how many times I double checked his position. But once they start holding up their head, I love baby wearing.
