We go so often to Northside Lobster Roll in Riverhead and take the scenic route and love the atmosphere by want to try somewhere different. Any ideas of a pretty route and outdoor eating similar to this for a day out tomorrow?

Thanks

Claudios!!!! I think Cooperidge Inn in Baiting Hollow on Sound has outdoor seating too. If you just want sandwiches, then Eriks on Sound Ave in Southold.

.

How long would it take from Medford? Is it a pretty drive? Is there anywhere to stop along the way, farm stands and such?

Thanks.

Is a pretty drive, yes there are farm stands. Greenport is super cute and has the carosuel.

I'd guess an hour and 20 from Medford but it's going to be trafficy and crowded, everyone has the same idea as you Chat Icon

Thanks. Is there one centralized place to park or you have to move your car from place to place?

You could stop at wineries on the way for wine tasting and hang out outside. You could go berry picking. Or stop at briermere and get pie!

I was going to suggest the Cooperidge Inn. I love it there. The food is delicious and it's right next to the wineries if you felt like stopping there after!

If you're open to different locations there are a lot of nice outdoor restaurants in Montauk. We used to go to Gosman's every year and last year I went to a Mexican place right by The Sloppy Tuna that was great!
