I really don't see the issue. You followed up with a vendor which should be done with any vendor and she found your information and payment. The event didn't pass and you still are getting your cookies. I understand being a little frustrated but I really don't see any issue to complain about.

The issue is that if I didn't reached out to her she wouldn't have realized I had sent my contract with payment. But thanks.

Of the thread posted last week, not this thread, obviously. She edited her post.

Re: Cookie lady
I was the original poster my thread got taken down as I'm sure other ones too because she is a vendor on here. My issue was similar she got paid more than once, I used her for years and was really shocked and dissapointed...I'm sure this will be removed but I hope I caused a little awareness. Check your contracts ladies! I hope your issue gets resolved quickly!

Haha, yes. This thread I am obviously the OP. I edited my OP with the details, but not in time for someone to comment on it.
The thread I was asking about was a few weeks ago someone started a thread asking has anybody not had a good experience with the cookie lady.
I was looking for it this morning to see what had happened with that OP and it had been pulled.

Thank you for jumping in! I know I'm not crazy for having an issue, despite what someone thinks I have no reason to complain.
And yes, it was fixed, but it's more of a please be aware ladies and cover your a$$. Emails are the best for that to prove payment, contracts, etc.

It seems up just did a follow up call. Which is always best to do anyway, unless I'm missing something else.

It's more than that. I always follow up with vendors, etc. I followed up and she said she never received my contract or payment. I the. Went through my old emails and forwarded her the email I sent back in February with the contract which she acknowledged receipt and I found my paypal email showing proof I sent her a payment which she said wasn't received.

That sounds very unprofessional. As a business she should be keeping better records and be more organized. That would turn me off too

Re: Cookie lady
The cookies I ordered from the Cookie Lady for my son's party last month came out awesome, were delicious and arrived a day or 2 before the party. Just sayin' ....
Enough with messing with this lady's livelihood already!! It's a small home based business. Not a multimillion dollar company. Enough already! It's just plain mean at this point.

I don't see how people giving their honest experiences are "messing: with her or "mean". It also sounds like its more than one person so I, for one, am glad these girls posted the warning.

Posting about a negative experience is one thing. Posting on like 5 different message boards about ONE negative experience after you've had SEVERAL wonderful experiences is something totally different. JMHO.

I can tell some people are clearly friends with her on here and rightfully so want to come to her defense.
But, business is business and personal is personal.

She is awesome and jumped right in when I needed cookies for Pipers fundraiser. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes. She rectified the situation so what's the problem?!?! And there are holes in your story so own up to your part in it an give the lady a break!

Im not friends with her but have used her numerous times and never had any issues at all. Everything turned out great and just as I had asked. Is she not human and not allowed to make mistakes? This seems a little ridiculous to keep bringing up and harping on.

Agreed. Me personally, I only know her from doing business with her for my son's party. But its like an attack on this girl. Completely uncalled for.

Everyone makes mistakes.. of course it happens..
But if several people have the same/similar issue - it seems to be more of an organization/record keeping issue than a mistake, IMO.

I'm not really sure what holes are in my story?!
I only posted it here and it seems I'm not alone in what happened. I'm not exactly messing with her livelihood but yes, I do think people should be aware of how business is being done, home based or huge office based.
If people want to come out of the woodworks after not posting for 3 months and attack, so be it. I said what happened to make others aware and now I've said what I had to and will go about my day.

I agree. People make mistakes but we are talking about a business. Businesses shouldn't be making the same mistake over and over.
Seems like she is good at making cookies and delivery but is probably growing and needs to grow in terms of creating a better tracking system of contracts and payments.
Hopefully she is working on it.
