Basketball hoop

I am buying one for DH to use in driveway -- and eventually use with our DS one day!
If you have one is it fixed to your garage, or on its own stand to be moved around? What do you prefer?

Re: Basketball hoop

Depends on how much you play. Our neighbors across the street plays all the time. Their oldest DS is 13 and DD who's 10 plays on a team. They are all also very tall. They have a good one.
We are not very athletic. Chat Icon We are also all not that tall... LOL! Although that doesn't make a difference. Our boys are still young so for now DH got one that you can move and fill the base with sand and water to weigh it down. It rarely gets used here. When our boys feel like it they go across the street and play with the older kids. Chat Icon

There is a family around the corner that actually put in a small court with lighting and all. Looks awesome. I guess they really play.
I say go for the good one in the driveway if you plan on being at your home for a while and it will get used a lot.
