Recommend your doubles stroller..
I finally settled on the Baby Trend Double Sit and Stand bc it seemed to have everything that I would need but I used it today for the first time and Hated it! I found it very difficult to steer and cant imagine using it on a regular basis.
I am now considering the
Kolcraft Contours Optima
Citi Mini Double
Joovy X2

If you live near a Buybuybaby, is highly suggest to test drive the doubles.
We ended up getting a joovy x2, which met our needs & was a great price ($150ish).
Citimini double was nice, but my 3 month old wasn't comfy in it & I wasn't going to use the car seat adaptor.

I have a city select because I just wasn't loving the side by side set up of other strollers. Though I agree that if you can get to a buy buy baby, it is really helpful to be able to test drive the different models and see which you feel most comfortable with. It does seem like people love the city mini and the joovy though!

A friend of mine has the kolcraft & hates it. She says that it's so heavy she cannot fold it up without her husband. You should test that one out in the store. I do love the option to switch the seats so that is why I have a city select. How old are your kids?

I didn't like any of the side by sides. I also like the seat configurations and the ability to make it a single or a double.

I love the city mini double. I've had no issues with its width. It maneuvers very easily and my kids seem comfie in it. Dd is 16 months and Ds is 3 weeks. I got a jj cole insert (that can be used in a car seat) and da is comfortable in it. I also for the car seat adapter but I would not recommend that - it's big and heavy and I for trust it.
I tried the city select in the store and planned on getting it. But the I actually used it with 2 kids in it and I didn't like it. Plus the older child did not seem comfortable in the seat at all. So I opted for the city mini double and couldn't be happier. Anyone that uses it loves it

When selecting the double you really need to consider how you are using it.
Shopping and occassional walks?
Outings, walks and some shopping?
We loved the indie twin - my boys were 14 months apart.

Recommend your doubles stroller..
I love my City Mini double! Their customer service is phenomenal too. I had an issue with one of the front wheels locking and they sent me new ones and I love the stroller even more!

I also LOVE my bumbleride indie twin!!! we take it everywhere beach etc. I also can do all of my food shopping with it with the twins in it also.
