..not really enjoying pregnancy? i hate to sound ungrateful or unhappy b/c i truly am, but the last few weeks have been brutal. since about 4 weeks, i'm constantly nauseous and i actually got sick a few times last week. i'm barely eating. when i'm able to eat and feel a little better, my stomach hurts b/c it feels too full and i can't go to the bathroom. i just never feel good and it's hard to be excited/happy when i feel this way. i'm eight weeks today and i'm hoping things start to turn around

I hear you. I've had terrible ms since the second I peed on the stick. I'm 10 weeks now and still feel nauseous most of the day and night. That and I'm exhausted. I never really liked pregnancy. I didn't like being pregnant the first time around either, but I can tell you that when you see your baby for the first time it all becomes worth it. Every single pain, discomfort and pound gained is completely worth it.
Just know that the second trimester is sooooo much better. I felt like a completely different person. You start to show and feel movement and you may really enjoy it at that point. I promise there are better days ahead!!! The second trimester is my favorite and I honestly don't mind being pregnant at that point!!!

I am 9 weeks and I feel the same way. I am VERY excited for the end result, but I am not enjoying how I'm feeling at all. Everyone says another month and it will start to get better......I hope so! I know girls that LOVE being pregnant and I can tell you, and I'm not ashamed of it or feel guilty about it - I am not one of those girls.

You think you're bad? I had no morning sickness and really felt fine my whole pregnancy and I STILL hated it. I hated being pregnant with a passion. So much so that it sealed my decision to be one and done. It just wasn't for me. And that's ok too. Doesn't mean you'll love your LO any less when they arrive.

Re: is anyone..
I'm 30 weeks and on my third pregnancy. I have never once enjoyed being pregnant, ever and am not ashamed to admit it! Each pregnancy has gotten worse for me as far as morning sickness goes and am thrilled that this will be my last pregnancy, ever! I can't wait to meet my little man but have never once enjoyed pregnancy.

I hated being pregnant. I wish I liked it more because it took so long to get me to that point. I was sick for the first 14 weeks and then the pain started and then at the beginning of my 3rd trimester I developed issues and was pulled from work.
I would never trade it because my DS is the best thing I could have ever asked for.
I joke all the time about #2. That if I would have someone carry #2 I would.

Even though I wasn't feeling well, I really am loving being pregnant... I love knowing that this little person is growing inside of me. After the losses last year, every time I would get sick or really not feel well, I knew it was baby reminding me they were A-OK in there. I'm starting to feel better and my appetite is DEFINITELY coming back (15+ weeks). I love that my belly is looking pregnant and not fat.

Re: is anyone..
Hope you feel better and the nausea goes away. Try and see what are things that could potentially make you feel better - when I was nauseous during the first trimester, it helped doing smaller snacks throughout the day instead of big meals, carbs helped too, fruit, etc.
Personally, I love every single minute of this pregnancy. It still doesn't feel real that I am pregnant even with all the kicking around that's been happening (I'm 32 weeks) and that there is a baby on the way - part of it, probably a big part of it is that it took us a long time to get here and days when we didn't think we'd be able to get pregnant. So now, I cherish every single ache, pain, movement that happens. I remember in the first trimester when I used to throw up, literally having a smile on my face afterwards because for a long time, I just wished that could have been me, and I knew with each nausea feeling things were progressing. Again, this is how I personally feel and I hope as the time goes for you, that you start to feel better!

thank you all so much for responding. i really appreciate it and it's nice to know that i'm not alone.
i feel bad for my husband too. i'm def not myself lately and he's doing anything and everything in his power to make me feel better, but nothing works.
i know this will all be worth it in the end. i'm just hoping things get better in the second trimester.
thank you all again for making me feel better <3

I HATED every second of it. I had a really easy pregnancy too- some morning sickness at the beginning but otherwise it was a breeze. I just hated the attention, I hated people talking to me about being pregnant and asking how I was feeling. Then when I started to show I hated it even more. I tried for so long to get pregnant and had losses, so I feel like for me I just couldn't let myself get excited. When dd was born I think I was in shock bc I was so disconnected the entire time, but the instant they gave her to me it was love at first sight. Really don't know if I'll have any more though bc I was so miserable for 9 months.

That was the extent of my diet first trimester too and now in third trimester, most things are good to go except for sweets, have hated sweets the whole pregnancy.
Don't feel bad about how you feel, everyone is entitled to feel how they want to - and everyone will have a different experience. I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes smoother especially after 1st trimester - and once you start feeling the kicks and all that, it's pretty amazing.

We went through 4 years of infertility treatment, before I got pregnant with twins. Since about 26w I HATE being pregnant. I'm on bed rest, can barely get around. Only 4 weeks left though. Then it'll be worth it.

Omg, do NOT feel bad about expressing how you feel! I have gone through infertility hell and to have a baby in my womb right now is a complete miracle. When I went through my MS, I was in complete misery and no matter how grateful you are to be pregnant, nausea, weakness and vomiting totally sucks! Especially if you have other kids that you have to care for and stay on point for! Just know you will feel better in a few weeks. Your hormones will sort out and time will fly by. Before you know it, you will be holding your baby and it will all be worth it. we will get there!
