CD 3 when away
ugh sorry it submitted before I got a chance to ask my question...
I am starting back up with my old RE (last time I was there was October). The protocol I was following was clomid, trigger, IUI and progesterone supps. The ladies at the RE office told me I needed to do a consult because too much time has passed. My consult is about a week before AF is due, but then I leave for vacation the following week, so I most likely will be away during CD 3. Do you think the RE would be willing to prescribe me with clomid anyway and just follow up with monitoring a week later when I get back? Or is this pretty much not possible since I need CD 3 BW drawn? Just am bummed if I have to wait another month to start up. TIA!

Unfortunately, I think you'll have to skip this cycle and start up next month (not the answer you wanted to hear I'm sure -- sorry). To start a Clomid cycle, doctors require CD3 bloodwork and definitely won't write you a prescription for anything without it, especially since the last time you were there was over 7 months ago.

You can do the blood draw between CD3 and CD5.
