Blue Bay Diner?
Blue Bay is expensive for a diner. We prefer North Shore Diner on Frannie Lou and Northern or Lollipop in Whitestone Shopping center.
Been meaning to try Veranda. There's also a Martha's Country Bakery on Bell and 41st.

Re: Breakfast in Queens?
Don't go to bayside diner. I went 2 yrs ago I order a grilled cheese sandwich with bacon and a sliced apple , and a Belgian waffle with vanilla ice cream, bananas, whipped cream and bacon. $54. It was like 1 am, my friend and I had the giggles so they thought we were prob high. (Totally sober, btw). I was like wtf!? Of course too embarrassed to say anything since I was treating. I didn't want my friend to feel bad. Fifty four fkkking dollars

Breakfast in Queens?
Diners have gotten so expensive now!! I think Martha's only serves desserts, not like that's a big deal at all but if ur looking for eggs go elsewhere. Veranda isn't that great for food but it's a nice place.
There used to be a cute little diner on Bell Blvd right by the LIRR that was great. Wonder if they're still there? I think it was called Gold Star.

Re: Breakfast in Queens?
Nope the place on bell is now an Indian spot.
Veranda is pricey but the food portions are huge and the food is "fine" It's really nice though. Outdoors, especially.

Re: Breakfast in Queens?
There's a cute little cafe/diner on 73rd ave and Bell Blvd (not far from Union tpke) called Bell Diner. It's very clean and welcoming and their food is VERY good. Reasonable too.
Veranda, I agree, is good. It's like an upscale diner (same owners as Bayside Diner). Fresh food, good combinations + full bar, outdoor seating and nice atmosphere, overall.
