I am back
I was gone for a little bit I took a break after my first iui on April and we thought we were but it ended up being nothing and than in May I had an episode with my kidney stones ended up in the er and had to have surgery now that is all cleared up I figured on June after my cycle we would try for another iui but I never got my cycle so I have an appt with Dr. Cohen on 7-14 and I have lots of questions I would like to see if there is more than clomid I can take I feel like I am getting no where and I am stressed and did not know it was going to be these hard :(

How long did you take clomid for? If try if more than once.

Sounds like you've only had 1 IUI so far? Hang in there, it usually takes a few tries!

But yes, there are plenty of other things to take
I was on gonal F for 4 cycles along w a trigger shot
Clomid did not work for us- we tried 2 cycles

Agree with the RE likely not switching you so soon. RE wouldn't allow me to move to Clomid until we tried at least 2 times w/o. I had 4 IUI's in total -- the first 2 were natural, unmedicated and the last 2 were with Clomid with Ovidrel trigger. I know it sucks, but try to be patient (so much easier said than done). Like someone else said, it can often take multiple IUI's to get a BFP. This current cycle we've moved on to IVF. Hope everything works out for you!
