Speaking of second pregnancy....
I'm back for round two and I'm feeling a little different. I know everyone is different but I just thought I would get an idea of other's first pregnancies compared to their seconds? Same symptoms? Different weight gain? Shorter birth? Easer/harder to lose the baby weight? More for fun but I'd love to hear experiences.

Re: Speaking of second pregnancy....
MUCH more tired. I credit my toddler with that. Also broke out a ton more. Cravings but not the severe food aversions I had with my first. I think I showed a good amount sooner as well but seem to be carrying similar

Re: Speaking of second pregnancy....
I had the same symptoms during the first few weeks with this pregnancy that I had with my first - super thirsty and starving!
I'm 23 weeks pregnant with twins now and it's definitely been harder - much more exhausted and uncomfortable, but I chalk that up to twins and chasing around a toddler.

Re: Speaking of second pregnancy....
I'm almost 19 weeks with my 2nd. This time around, I felt more tired, MUCH more nauseous (major food aversions, horrible gag reflex, crazy sense of bad smells, etc), and I'm very easily agitated - very different from my first. I started showing MUCH earlier too. I was convinced I was having a boy, bc my symptoms and the way I'm carrying are so different than when I was pregnant with DD, but we found out it's another girl!

Speaking of second pregnancy....
My second pregnancy was different from my first. I was much more tired but that could have been that I was running around after a 1 yr old the second time around. I gained the same amour of weight but carried differently (and I knew that based on the clothing I wore - with my second I never needed to wear my larger size pants that I got with my first). my first was a girl and second a boy ( we were team green both times). I had more food aversions and cravings with my first. I was late with both (8 days with #1, 2 days with #2). Both of my labor were quick but with my first the epidural was much better.

Re: Speaking of second pregnancy....
I had totally different symptoms with my 2nd than what I had with my 1st. The labor and delivery was much shorter, recovery was about the same. I was up and going as soon as I got home 2 days later. I gained less with my 2nd and lost it quicker.

Speaking of second pregnancy....
2nd time I had some morning sickness the first trimester other than that I feel similar, two good pregnancies, I mean heart burn, tired and that kinda stuff but fairly easy otherwise. I might feel better this time, sciatica (knock wood) hasn't been as bad as first go round.
eta: my hormones are raging this time, very bitchyy thats one difference lol

Re: Speaking of second pregnancy....
Very easy pregnancies for 1 & 2. Same for #3.
#1: Gained 20 lbs #2: Gained 19 lbs
#1: 7 hours labor/delivery #2: 4 hours labor/delivery
#1: easy to lose the weight (was 27). #2: harder to lose the last 10 lbs (was 31)

Speaking of second pregnancy....
1 - best pregnancy ever! I slept on my belly until 36 weeks. Got up to pee MAYBE once a night when I got up... Nausea went away by 9 weeks. Danced around the day I got induced. Felt amazing and pretty the whole pregnancy. Pregnant with a boy!
2 - STILL nauseated at almost 20 weeks. Pee at least 3 times a night. Stopped sleeping on my belly at 12 weeks :(. Feel more tired and achy (but I have a 1.5yr old to chase...). Pregnant with another boy!

Re: Speaking of second pregnancy....
Had carpel tunnel the first time. This time no. Had heartburn for one day both times. This time my scalp was sooooo itchy in the beginning. Not the first time. Both boys.

I'm on my fifth and I can tell you that EVERY SINGLE PREGNANCY has been different! Different cravings, different aches/pains, morning sickness for some and not for others.

Re: Speaking of second pregnancy....
I'm 14 weeks with my 2nd.
The nausea has been way worse this time around, more tired, a lot less weight gain so far- by the this time last pregnancy I was 10 lbs heavier!!!!! At 14 weeks this time I only gained 2-3 lbs so far. I showed earlier the first time!!!! Which is totally weird since most people show earlier the second time. I'm still in pre-pregnancy clothing and pants and I'm hardly showing. I don't really look pregnant at all.
Also a lot more worry. Last time I had a healthy non eventful pregnacy. This time I'm seeing high risk doctors and was tested for all types of genetic/chromosomal annormalities. It's been a rough couple of weeks.

Speaking of second pregnancy....
My two pregnancies were very, very different!!
With my first I gained 60lbs. With my second I gained 25lbs.
With my first I had bad MS all during the first trimester. During the 2nd and 3rd I had awful heartburn. With my second, I had no symptoms. I didn't even feel pregnant until around 30 weeks when I had a belly!
With my first I was in maternity clothes at 8 weeks. With my second, I was in my regular jeans the entire pregnancy.
First was a scheduled c/s (he was breech). Second was a vbac.
