Dehumidifiers?

Does anyone know anything about these?

There was a Sani dry system installed prior to is purchasing our home, but it recently stopped working (gave off an electrical burning smell). The company says they don't have the capacity to service it, so were looking into a new unit.

Any suggestions? DH would like something very capable-he has quite the sensativity to moisture in the air.

The only other system we really found was white wing-any feedback?

Whole-house, or just for a room?

Whole house I think-it's in our basement but drains directly outside of the house
