Is 11 weeks enough time to train for a marathon?

I have run 2 halfs in the past and really want to complete a marathon. The Hamptons Marathon has caught my eye and it's at the end of September.

I'm just getting back into training after taking 2 months off from a stress fracture. My endurance has gone down a bit but I typically build back up pretty quickly.

Do you think 11 weeks is enough time to train?

Edit: Well, after looking at the training programs, it says I should be able to run a half this week to be prepared for a full at the end of September. I am not ready for that. I think I'll do the Hamptons Half and look for a Full for November or December! Chat Icon
