Has anyone ever used "used" kitchen cabinets?
A friend of mine is redoing her kitchen and her kitchen cabinets are in great condition so she is giving them to me. The thing is I might need one or two more cabinets in order to make them work in my kitchen.
Has anyone ever done this? Who should I contact about trying to find "matching" cabinets?
Here is a pic of the cabinets: http://www.lifamilies.com/community/album/?ID=12318

Look inside the cabinets to find the manufacturer and then contact them directly and ask where you can purchase additional pieces of cabinetry.

Has anyone ever used
Just know that even if you find them they might not match. Wood fades over the years so if you buy a few new ones they might be different than the old ones.

I did this.. sort of. I had a family member who owned a kitchen showroom and was getting new cabinets there so she gave us the showroom cabinets. The manufacturer didn't make ours anymore so we took a door to home depot and found something to compliment them. For us, we needed a sink cabinet and pantry for the other side of the kitchen. Since it was the center cabinet (sink) it made sense that the cabinet could be different. It was the same color.
