I need advice
I'm sorry i do not post much but if you ladies don't mind I can use some advice, after a long hard battle I am finally doing my first round of IUI, i took Clomid for 5 days and went today to get my sonogram, I have 2 dominant follicles on my right side and 2 small on my left however after an inconclusive test they are unsure if my right tube is blocked when I got the test done very little fluid leaked but i was very tense cause the doctor messed up the catheter.
Now being that the right side is dominant i don't know if I should go ahead this month or skip. If I skip i will wonder if I could have gotten pregnant, I try and am not than i will wonder if I just used one of chances.
Anyone been through this or have any advice??
Thank you in advance xo

Re: I need advice
Unless you are paying IUI out of pocket, I would see no reason to cancel it.
If you are paying out of pocket then skip the IUI and try naturally.

Re: I need advice
do you mean your insurance will over cover 3 IUI's? If so then you can always try on your own this cycle.

Just wanted to say that I'm pretty sure that being tense would not cause your tubes to be blocked. I don't think you can physically control your tubes, so being tense shouldn't prevent the fluid flowing through freely.

thank you for your input! the doctor is the one who suggested that, both stated if you are tense or in pain it can cause you to tense up and prevent all the fluid from passing but I also had a bad experience the doctor entered the catheter wrong the first time than i found out i was allergic to the dye, they think that all played a roll
