Anyone work out at Retro Fitness?

Specifically the West Babylon one? Do you like it? I need to join a gym again. I tried out Big Al's in Amityville and it's just so dark and dreary in there. I was thinking about Retro. TIA!

Re: Anyone work out at Retro Fitness?

My membership at Big Al's is on hold but I am having trouble understanding the dark and dreary part. I used to go around 5 am and it always seemed hopping, even for early in the am. I actually preferred going then vs. at night when it was much more crowded.

I have a few friends who go to the LA Fitness in WB but I think they are a lot more pricier.

The inside is not well lit at all, especially by the cardio equipment, and made me want to go to sleep. Not the type of place I'd like to work out in. Just was not a good fit for me.

I do, but a retro in queens. I like it and for $20/month you can't go wrong. It's clean, big and they have tons of stuff.

I do as well. I really like it. They have all the cardio machines I could want and ones I didn't even know existed, machines, Classes (which I don't take), and I love my trainer (which is an added cost).

I did at one point to the one in Farmingdale. It was fine except for the hrs. Closed too early for me many of the days.
