Is this OK?
Is it OK to wear white shoes with a black dress to a formal event?
if you are going for a black and white look? maybe wearing a white hair accessory of some kind...

I think it could be done but the look has to been clean and sleek. Honestly, I would omit the white hair accessory, but that's just me.
If you google there are lots of great looks like this.

I would go for a white clutch with black dress and white shoes. And I would wear my white pearls.
