Need help - wanna play decorator for my bathroom?!
I have a small powder room downstairs that I want to redo.
Here's what I have to work with:
Green marble tiling
white toilet
I WANT to do some cool, modern (but not too over the top) wallpaper in here and buy a new 24 in. (give or take a couple inches) vanity. I do NOT want a pedestal sink. I'd also like to do chrome or brushed nickel hardware.
I have NO IDEA what color to do with the wallpaper or the vanity. What complements dark green tiles?
Here's an idea of what my tile looks like (I hate it but cant afford to change it out):
Please tell me there's hope for having a chic powder room with this dated looking tile!

Is this tiling only on the floor?
You could do a white on silver or white on cream graphic wallpaper... something subtle.

Black and white damask accent wall and white painted walls for the other walls?

My mom is redoing her bathroom and is getting an awesome sink - it's called a spun glass sink by Kohler (looks much better in person)! That may add something different. Id just do that, maybe a cream-on-cream wallpaper, and oiled bronze finishing.

I love the look of vessel sinks in bathrooms - very modern looking!
Something along these lines:
ETA- I'd keep the colors neutral since the tile is dark. I love the cream/silver wallpaper posted above!

Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moore, HD, Lowes, I think a lot of blinds places have them too.

It's from a Better Homes and Gardens magazine but if you print out the picture and bring it to a store they could probably help you find something similar.
