Another what would you give post..
BF & I are going to a wedding this Sunday morning. It's a brunch wedding (I think a buffet as opposed to sit down), and it's casual attire.
I was thinking $150-$175 as a gift. Is this good?

I think that you should give what you can afford. I don't typically judge my gift by the time or day that it's being held, but by my relationship with the person. That being said, I think that $150-175 is a good gift.

$150 - 175 sounds good given it's a brunch buffet and casual attire.

I agree with this.
I recently went to a post- city hall wedding dinner in a small casual restaurant.
We weren't going to their wedding that was destination. I think we gave $100 but with that said, DH has also done a ton of work around their apartment for free.
Given some history, $100 was super generous.

I don't think that the time of day or type of meal should dictate the gift.
Personally we never give less than 200 as a couple - usually 300. But of course your circumstances may be different - go with your gut!
