When you are being tested for infertility, obviously your DH gets a semen analysis. What tests besides blood tests does the woman have to go through? I am curious, this way if DH gives me a hard time I can tell him what is in store for me.

Wow where to start? It depends on the womens background and physical history but its usually LOTS of blood work, lots of sonos, a Saline Sono, a HSG( radiology procedure where they squirt dye inside you to see if your tubes are open), a laproscopy (diagnsotic surgery) for some people...To name a few

A Semen anylasis is EASY IMO..I mean gimme a break, they get PLEASURE out of it. Thats all I had to tell my DH. He get s permission to look at Porn, have a free "session" with himself and its not painful. Cant be much easier then that.

My DH was very uneasy about the idea of a semen analysis, but it wasn't as bad as we thought it was going to be. He was able to ..... well........"make a sample" at home in a cup and I dropped it off (you have an hour to drop it off before it goes "bad") so he didn't even meet anyone at the lab.This gave him some privacy and anonymity ( I thanked the techs at the lab and I considered writing a "thank you" note to Jenna Jameson!) It's alot easier than what we have to do!
