I've heard good things about Frankel and Bashian, but not so great things about the office staff, wait time, ease of getting an appointment, etc. Any truth to this?

Crashing....the wait time is a b$$$$! If I had a 5pm appointment there were times I would be there until 7/7:30 and my time w/ the doctor was like 10minutes max. The staff wasn't too bad. Sonogram appointments were a pain most of the time since the tech wouldn't be there in the evenings there were times I had to go for the sono appointment on my lunch break then go back in the evening after work for my OB appt. The day of my csection Dr B was late (4hours).
Even though I really like the doctors(bedside manner, etc) I am looking for a new doctor for my next pregnancy. I also suffered a loss recently and there was a lack of follow through on the office part.

The wait time can be a pain, but I've always found the office staff to be pleasant. And I've never had an issue getting an appointment.

Dr Cohen and/or Dr Shapiro of Women's Health and Wellness. Offices in Woodbury and New Hyde Park.
I had some late complications (two days before my scheduled c section) to my pregnancy, and although Cohen is my doctor, he had the other attending Dr Shapiro in the OR too. Everything went wonderfully with my surgery.

I had one appointment with Dr. Bashian early in my pregnancy when I was looking for a new doctor due to policy changes at the hospital where my regular ob delivers. Dr. Bashian performed tests without even telling me what they were. It wasn't until I received a bill last week (months and months after the visit) that I finally learned what tests she performed. She spent very little time with me, though the wait time was lengthy. I was unimpressed and went elsewhere.

I go to all about women I'm on my 3rd kid rosenberg is my fav. They are in garden city but so fast to get to off meadowbk ( I live in pequa)

Dr. Cohen has been great so far. I have NEVER waited for any appointment, including sonos and the staff is super nice and efficient. The secretary even took time to ease my worry and search for blood results that I just wanted clarification of. They really go above and beyond for patients.

I use women for women in lake success. They deliver at LIJ. Love them. All women doctors and my favorite one is dr ostroff
