hey ladies!

hope you all had a nice weekend!

i think i might be a little dehydrated. i get sick almost every night now, which doesn't help. i got really dizzy and hot/clammy waiting for the bus this morning. i felt like i was going to pass out. i'm sure i should be drinking more water too. the only problem is that I HATE WATER! how much is recommended? is there anything else i can drink?

thanks!

Get a special water bottle you can use - that helps me to remember to drink. This is the one I have:

http://www.amazon.com/Contigo-Autoseal-Grace-Bottle-24-Ounce/dp/B00A74ZV1M/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1405350923&sr=8-3&keywords=cognito+water+bottle

I try and drink over 8 cups of water a day. If you're not a fan of water, try adding a lot of ice, that makes it better especially w/ heat, or you can add some lemon wedges, etc.

I found drinking water out of a bottle helped. I also added a few drops of lemon juice to naturally flavor it. I used to have a water bottle that I got from bed bath and beyond, it had a capsule thingy in the middle so you could put cut up fruit in it to flavor the water.

I like to add mint to my water, it gives it some flavor and it helped me a lot in the beginning with the nausea. I probably drink about 80-100oz a day.

Its a a common recommendation is to drink at least eight to ten 8-ounce glasses of water per day, but everyone has unique needs. You can a small amount of lemon in to the water.

I hate water too.
Get a fruit infuser water bottle like this:

External Image

I love it with grapefruit. You can do strawberries, rasperries, peaches.
Oranges, lemons, limes. etc.
Frozen fruit works great too to keep it cold.
SOOO good.

dehydration

I was told today I'm not drinking enough water and the nurse said to try those flavor packets u can just dissolve in water. I hate drinking lots of water but I found the fruit to be the best option. Also make sure you get your blood sugar checked. I was also getting clammy and sweaty and my doc told me it could be that and to carry candy with me
