Chocolate Works Party Review
This weekend we had a party at the Commack location of Chocolate Works for my daughter's 6th birthday. Overall it was a great party. The ages of the kids at the party ranged from 3 to 14 and everyone had fun. The party included making a chocolate mold which they got to decorate with different color chocolates, selecting an item to go through the conveyor belt to be covered in chocolate and eaten at party, a few games including trivia about my daughter, lesson on chocolate, candy bingo and jelly bean taste test. As part of the favor I bought aprons at Michael's and fabric markers and the kids made an apron to take home. I also bought Curious George Goes to the Chocolate Factory books as part of the favor and they take home the chocolate mold they created.
It is on the more expensive side at $375 for 10 kids and $20 for each additional kid. On top of that is automatic gratuity at 15% and tax.
Having gotten the idea for the party from LIF just wanted to give my review. It was different and the kids all had fun

Sounds fun! Do they include lunch and cake in the cost?

Pizza is included for the kids. Pizza for adults is charged at $18/pie. Cake is not included. I brought cupcakes.

Re: Chocolate Works Party Review
Thanks for this! I just booked my daughter's 8th birthday party at one of their locations. Did you find they had another activities to do? Worried about them being bored. Maybe i should get aprons too.....

Re: Chocolate Works Party Review
One of the reviews I read was that it seemed like a lot of waiting. It does involve some waiting, waiting to make mold, waiting to put through conveyor belt and I can see if you have a really large amount of kids this could be an issue but we had 14 kids total and it was fine. The party really moved along nicely and they went right from one activity or game to the next.
I think the kids liked making the aprons, I bought them at Michaels usually $20 for 5 pack with 40% off coupons so pretty reasonable.
