Any ideas for a read aloud or activity to do on the first day? I am teaching 2nd grade for the first time in a few years.

Back to school-First day ideas
A Fine, Fine School is a great read for the first day. Also gives the opportunity for a writing prompt about how they would feel if school was every day, even on holidays.
