Beta #2!
Spoke with Dr. Brenner -- Wednesday it was 86 and today it was 171 -- one point shy of a perfect double! 
Have to go in this coming Thursday for beta #3 and the following week for my first sono to check for an amniotic sac with something inside! Was also told to get an appointment with my OBGYN for my first visit at the end of September/beginning of October.
At what point can I let myself go and be ecstatic? When I get Wednesday's #, I was really happy but waiting for Friday's. Now that I have it, I am being cautiously optimistic for this Thursday's #.

Congrats on your 2nd Beta. Hoping it continues to double for you.
As for when you can finally enjoy this great news ... it's really hard to say. I think once you've been tainted by infertility you will always worry. I am 32 weeks pregnant now and still worry. It took me a really long time to finally let up and believe that this was actually happening. As much as I try to enjoy my pregnancy I don't think I will ever be fully happy until this baby is in my arms. Good Luck!

Yeay congrats! I don't think I ever stopped worrying. But i did feel better after the NT scan.

Congrats on good numbers. Honestly I am still not ecstatic....I am too worried and I'm 21 weeks. I think with each milestone it got easier like first OB app, then the 12 week NT scan, then the Anatomy scan at 20 weeks...but I still worry. We had some bumps in the road along the way so its been hard. Just take it day by day.
