Welcome baby! Not a vbac but amazing anyway
Well, I gave it my all but it wasn't in the cards. Even before surgery, I had doc check me one last time...and then I just accepted it and was ready to meet my Gabriella.
Section went great; doctor said to me: "this vbac wasn't going to happen, my love. She was still floating high in your pelvis, she was large and those hip bones are narrow and tiny!"
So, I'm recovering well, and have my gorgeous Gabriella Nicole out safe and sound. 8 lbs, 10 oz, 20 inches. Perfect in every way.
To the moms trying for vbac...know that if it doesn't work out, you still made a beautiful home for 9 months; you were able to carry a child. What a gift!
