3D Sono
Hi Ladies,
Has anyone done the 3D sono and if so, where did you have it done and how many weeks were you?
THANK YOU!

3D Sono
Did mine at Baby Imprints in Valley Stream. Went at 16 weeks for gender determination, but she has a ton of different times/packages online. The lady who runs it is amazing and so patient! I have stubborn babies and most places would've probably given up on finding gender- she never did!

I also did mine at Baby Imprints in Valley Stream. I did mine at 28 weeks. If I'm correct I think the best time to do 3D is between weeks 28-32 weeks because you get a better picture of the face bc the baby has a bit more fat on them. I also waited until then because my obgyn does the gender determination at the "20 week sono" and they also typically do a sono at 32 weeks and offer a 3D at that time, so we wanted a little sneak peak before then.

Oh- one more thing. The cool thing about this place (and I'm sure other 3D places) is that we got a CD with about 30 images of our baby in 3D and even got a CD with several short 4D clips of the baby moving! We got to see him yawning, moving his hands and playing with his umbilical cord. It was slightly expensive I think we paid between $140-160 for the session but IMO it was totally worth it. We were never able to get a good 3D sono at my DR's office because the baby is breech and covers his face. Now I'm due next week and that was our last real "sneak peak" at him.
