We are homeowners! Thank you Christine Braun (and the dream team)!!

We have been in our new home for a month now and it is about time I wrote my review on our amazing real estate agent Christine Braun!!

We met with Christine at the end of May and talked for awhile about the home buying process. We were also able to discuss what we (thought) our wants and needs were. This meeting was great because we left feeling knowledgeable and in control for the first time. Assuming this house would be the biggest and most expensive purchase of our lives it was great to finally feel like we knew what we had to do.

We started going to Open Houses and private showings with Christine in June. Walking around a house with Christine was so much better than going on our own. She was not afraid to ask questions and she looked for things that would have gone right over our heads. She was also there to remind me not to get blinded by the sparkle!!!! (Meaning don’t let pretty décor and paint make you like a house when the location, layout or some other non negotiable aspect sucked!!) I always loved her friendly attitude and also her honest opinions!!!

In July we found a house that we loved and for the first time ever put in an offer. The house was in a hot area and we knew we would need to move quickly. Christine prepared comps for us of the area and helped us figure out the true value of the home - within 24 hours we found out that we got the house!

Our lawyer – Kristen Breglio – and our mortgage broker - Steve Simpson (US Mortgage Company) - were both recommendations from Christine. I started referring to Christine, Kristen and Steve as MY DREAM TEAM!!

As I learned during the home buying process there are always 15 things happening at once. Forms to fill out, documents to prepare and the people you have working on your side can make or break the process.

Kristen Breglio was sweet, friendly and so helpful I actually hired her over the phone LOL
She explained what was happening and prepared us for what would come next. She always answered any of the questions we had and was there to support us when needed.

I was always very nervous that once we purchased a home –could we really afford it?! I didn’t want to live paycheck to paycheck.

Steve Simpson at US Mortgage Corporation sat with us for awhile going over our finances and explained exactly how much house we could afford. He's very knowledgeable, very accessible to his customers, and a straight shooter. You can tell he loves his job, wants his customers to know exactly what they are getting into and is not just out for a bank to make money.

Christine, Kristen and Steve were always in communication with each other and made sure the other was in the loop.

Only a month after signing our contract we went to closing and we could not have done it so smoothly without Christine, Kristen and Steve.

The saddest part about actually finding our home is not seeing Christine every weekend. She was always such a joy to work with.

Two weeks after moving into our home we came across a huge problem involving the house and our home owners insurance. At a loss on what to do, I contacted Christine and Kristen. Even though they weren’t getting paid and were “off the clock” they both offered advice and expertise on how to handle the situation and I was able to resolve the issue without losing my mind.
