Based on your question I'd assume you are looking at Bermuda for 2015? Both of these ships are nice, the Liberty is a little older but has the flowrider, rock climbing and other modern amenities. The Breakaway is practically brand new, also has a water park and a lot of nighttime entertainment. but I would also check out the Celebrity Summit - half the amount of passengers but amazing food/pool atmosphere and a crazy promotion right now that offers unlimited drinks for two and free gratuities. The summit goes out of Bayonne NJ same as the Liberty. If you wanted a quiet "couples" type vacation this might be a great choice also. Bottom line there are so many options for Bermuda out of the NY area that it really depends on what you love about travelling and what you're looking to get out of this particular trip(romance, adventure, etc.)

I have been on the Liberty of the Seas and loved the ship! I have been on 5 cruises and DH 14 and we both love the Liberty the best out of all of them.
