Fall photo mini sessions?
Does anyone know of any fall mini-sessions? I'm in Babylon- I saw one in Port Washington but was hoping someone knew of a photographer doing one closer. Thanks!

Lisa at Posh and Pretty Portraits did our Family pictures last year. I LOVE her
Posh and Pretty on FB
She does them in Massapequa usually.
Also try Tara Stephens Photography - she is local and may have availability.
I recommend Heather at Forever Fireflies and Kristen at Sweet Blossom as well.
All different price points and I'm not sure if Fireflies or Sweet Blossom is doing mini's right now.

Seriously!! What a rip off...I know this is a hard profession and the photographer is probably worth it...but come on! My DS who is the most chill kid ever was in a total mood for his 1 year old shoot. My photographer stayed with us until he settled down so we could get pictures, almost a hour!

I was thinking the same thing. I used my wedding photog for a family shoot and he was at my house for 4 hours and only charged me a little more than that and i got 200+ images.
I would never spend that kind of money for 20mins.

I agree that it is a lot, but it isn't just 20 minutes. There's probably at least 2 hrs of editing and then you have to include their overhead (props, insurances, advertising, etc).
I've gone the "cheaper" route before- just using Target or Penny's, but they don't do any editing. My kids ALWAYS have bruises, scrapes, etc. so I like that a photographer can edit them off.
Plus, as long as you pick someone decent, the pictures themselves are much better.
