Does this really work? I am totally getting a cold and cannot get sick! Where do I get it? Does Fairway have it?

I take daily but when I feel a cold coming on I up it to 3x a day. Works great by boosting immune system. Dd gets daily too. She loves it and asks for it several times a day. Mine is concentrated that I mix w water. Hers is in w agave syrup.

Vitamin C will work just as well, and is much less expensive. Take 1000 mg of Vitamin C a few times a day to knock out a cold.

Vitamin c can be great too. Elderberry is said by some to act as an anti viral against the flu. However you can use both together to aid against a cold.

Sorry to hijack, but how much do you give your kids dosage-wise, and is it every day or only when they start to show cold symptoms? My DS has had a cold on and off now for a few weeks.

Elderberry

I give it to my 4 year old daily. I give him a tsp diluted with some water. Otherwise, he won't take it. I feel like it works.

I just also started giving him a probiotic daily to give an extra boost. DS is not a big fan of veggies or meats, so I need to get in as much immune boosting products as I can until I make him realize vegetables are good for you.

It does work, I don't take it all the time just at the first signs of a cold. Fairway would probably have it, but I get mine at Vitamin Shop. Feel better!

Idk if it's the same, but CVS had it as a supplement for adults and also had it for kids in the form of gummy chews.

Both are diluted you want the concentrate if you're an adult and syrup if you're a child.

I cannot say with certainy however I breast feed my daughter and take it daily unless I forget. However she is 24mos so I only nurse 1x a day at night. Last year I took it but took pill capsules not the concentrate.

So please consult a doctor or research but I do it and until now didn't think about it! My ped said the only think you need to stop nursing for is chemo drugs and other heavy big deal drugs. I even nursed once when I was on AB

Just be careful if you have any history of kidney stones or tbey run in your family. Massive doses of vit C are known to cause stones.

DS and I take it every single day. I give DS the organic kids eldeberry syrup and I take the regular one.
This is the first season we're taking it so I'm hoping it works.
I also give him a probiotic.
