We used Sandra at September Blue.
I had been in love with her newborn portraits for years. She was so kind and PATIENT... which was great for me because I was a nervous wreck. I was nervous that we wouldn't get "good" shots and then DS spit up, oy! I think the problem was more that I was a new mom with only nine days experience but I am so thankful to her, looking back on it, because she was SUPER calm and relaxed. She patiently set up each and every shot and would spend so much time arranging his little fingers and toes, only for him to move the second she was done! LOL so she would just go back and do it again. Amazing. I could never do what she does.
Her studio was GREAT - easy to get to and had EVERYTHING that was needed to set up the shots we had wanted.
There are pics in my album. I loved it and I will cherish those pictures forever. We have an enlargement in his room. And the announcements she did were amazing. Initially, I was going to do my own on shutterfly or whatever. But she offered me a great deal and honestly, the quality and layout she designed was UNREAL. I should really post them. I ended up having them professionally framed and displayed because they were so nice. Then, people we sent them to would RAVE about how they had never seen an announcement like that before. My mother in law wanted one framed too. Loved!

We used Lori from Avajack for DS#1
We used Anne Hack for DS#2
Both were so sweet and patient and we loved the pictures.
DS#1 was done in our home. #2 was done in Anne's studio. While I wasn't sure I wanted to travel with my newborn, our house was way too cluttered and this way she had all the stuff she needed right there. In that sense it was a little easier.
And she was so nice when DS released every bodily fluid possible. I was so embarrassed - he almost peed on her lighting - he had a pretty good stream. But she was totally calm and nice about it all- and the pics were amazing!
