If you were going to INVEST in ONE classic heel...
... and price wasn't an issue, which would it be? I'm talking a classic black or nude pump that will last you 20 years and remain in style forever.
I'm not asking b/c I plan on purchasing (although I wish I could afford a $$$$ pair) but rather b/c I think I'm going to writing a blog on "investment" pieces and a capsule wardrobe in the near future.
If you could include why you chose the one you did, that would be awesome. Thanks in advance!
Pics and/or links would be excellent, also!

I'm sure a lot of people will mention louboutin, manolo, choo...
But I love the brand Butter. They're Italian, less expensive, comfy, and beautiful. Since you mentioned nude, here are a pair of peep toes I'd love....
Also love Brian Atwood:
Or a classic pair of Chanel flats:

I have to say I find Italian shoes to be insanely more comfortable and more well made than any other shoes out there.

Black Patent, 4" heel, rounded toe - Classic, timeless, and IMO, designer doesn't really matter.

Black python heels, and I will go against the norm and say pointy toe. I think it's classic but to me has a little more style than a round. I am wearing them today.
I feel like they go with everything because they're shinier than leather but not as shiny as patent and I love that they have a pattern so it makes them more versatile. I agree, brand is unimportant as long as they're quality.

I own one pair of nude patent leather CLs and one pair of black leather CLs--both have round toes. I've had them both for about 3-4 years and I still get starry eyes when I put them on.
