Is anyone one of these methods better?
...for losing weight?
Bike Riding Walking Running Work out DVD's
What would you rate #1 of the above for weight loss ( clean eating assumed)

If I had to rank them I'd say:
1- Running 2- Workout dvd (if you pick a good one) 3- Walking (brisk, not a stroll) 4- Bike riding (could be ranked higher if you increase the resistance or do spinning)
I think running is the clear winner (in my opinion), because it burns a ton of calories, especially if you do intervals.

but remember, the #1 thing for losing weight is what you are eating.
i dont know if you have, but look into clean eating and adjust that first so your exercise efforts don't fall short!

I can't rank those because it depends on how much you do it and at what intensity.
All of those exercises are going to burn calories, one is not better than the other but some burn calories faster than others (running vs. walking, for example).
The problem is, if you don't work out and start one of these activities, you may have an increased appetite. I run 40+ miles a week and my appetite is insane so although I'm not currently looking to lose weight, I wouldn't be able to because I eat so much!
Losing weight is definitely a combination of eating right and adding exercise, which does burn calories and increases your metabolism.

I'm not an expert, so I can't rank them, but I'd guess running will burn a lot of calories and help you lose weight.
I did a workout dvd (21 day fix) and although I lost a ton of inches I did not lose any weight.
Lastly, if there is any one of these activities that you really enjoy doing, that's what you should go with even if it's not the "best" one, because you're more likely to stick with it. Personally, i'd rather lose weight slowly doing something I love, or at least enjoy.

Running 30 minutes is better than walking 30 minutes in terms of calories burned, but walking 3 miles and running 3 miles will burn about the same calories - it will just take you longer.
The best method of exercise is one you will enjoy and stick with - so find what you like!
But weight loss is mostly diet. You cannot out exercise a bad diet no matter what exercise you do!
