Early American Minwax
Hi All! I am having my floors done and I want to know if you have the stain, early american. I don't want something too dark but yet I want a brown finish and not a red finish. Let me know your thoughts! I was also thinking about golden oak.
Thank you!

Re: Early American Minwax
My brother had it in his co-op. Was too light for my taste. We did English Chestnut in our home - it's definitely a brown stain and not a red stain.

Re: Early American Minwax
You also need to know what type of wood you have. Red oak is going to take color differently than white oak.
I would get sample pieces of the wood you have and then stain them the colors you are considering.
