Estrace and PI shots

I know this may be TMI, so I beg your compassion. Is anyone else on estrace vaginally and suffering (miserably) from irritation, itching, etc. My doc said he doesn't want to switch me to oral bc my numbers aren't as strong taking it orally. IM DYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, been on the Progesterone Injections for a week now, HOLY HANNAH!!!!!!!!!!!
One more week until IVF pregnancy test!

Estrace and PI shots

HI Tricia - same here, on Estrace pills at night and PIO daily.
PIO does suck, but depending on your dose, you can decrease it in half if you order a more concentrated version (I get 100mg/ml in olive oil from Kraupner, so I can do 1cc instead of 2cc daily). My rear feels like I had some implants placed in upper parts :(
As for Estrace, I do mine at bed time, and plug the vaginal opening with some toilet paper, so it would absorb anything that leaks out and prevent external skin irritation.

Can they increase the oral dose of estrace? I can't tolerate the any of those vaginal meds, way too sensitive so I have taken larger doses of meds orally and that has worked for me.

I was on Endometrin and PIO for 12 weeks. Nasty endo and the PIO killed my ass. Totally swollen and could barely walk. It was amazing to get the call that I could finally stop.

Thanks ladies! I got it from krupners too. They won't put me on the oral. The shots are killing my sides. I've been putting a maxi thin on to try and absorb the estrace but I'm still soooooooo irritated . I guess we all have to hang in there
