Crinone irritation? Sorry if tmi
Has anyone had irritation from crinone? Wondering if this is normal.... I have been on it for several cycles but I never had problems with it. I'm 8dpo and have been using it since 4dpo, I have noticed the discharge is colored brown or pink when I clean it out, and it kinda burns when I insert a new one. The only thing I've found when googling is that it could irritate the cervix, has anyone else experienced this?

YES!!! My last time I had a yellowish brown discharge right after I started using it after the iui. It burned and I was so uncomfortable at night after putting it in. I was so surprised because I didn't have that problem when I used it for the previous iui. I thought it might have had something to do with the chlomid. When I asked at RE's office they kind of blew it off as "it happens" with some patients.

Crinone was horrible for me. Gave me a straight yeast infection, it was so irritating! I ended up stopping it and going back on endometrin :/

I had a horrible reaction to Crinone. I rather do PIO then the reaction I get from using Crinone.

Wow, I'm wondering if I should request endometrin going forward, not sure if it's any better but I definitely need some sort of progesterone support during the 2ww. Thanks for your responses!

Have you cleaned it out? I was on it until week 11 of my pregnancy. Whenever I started to get irritation I cleaned myself out and it would stop in a day or two. It was the most disgusting thing ever. I would do it in the shower and gag the whole time. But it helped. I found towards the end of the 12 weeks I had to do it every 2-3 days because the buildup got so bad. It was horrible, but I think it beat shots. And I'm 16 weeks now, so I would do it all over again.
