Everyday vs Going Out Makeup
If you wear makeup everyday what do you change when you have an event. Doesn't even have to be big. Do you change it up if you are going out to dinner that night. Even more for a wedding or night out at the bars?
Thanks! I wear light makeup everyday. I work at home and am running the kids around local some days so don't put on a ton. For nights out or parties I wear mascara, which I don't wear too much during the week and do my eyes more. A lipstick and gloss over it to shine. Of course depends on what I'm wearing.
Just wanted to get some other ideas and hear from others if there's a big change in makeup and what you do everyday.

Pretty much what I wear for work is what I wear for a night out.
If it's a wedding, I MIGHT put on some sparkly eye shadow.

I am boring. If I go out at night, I will darken my eyeliner or lipstick.
For everyday, I wear a light face bronzer & lipgloss.

If I wear makeup to work - which is rare - it's just a shimmery loose eye shadow and some mascara.
For going out, I use darker eye shadows, eyeliner and bronzer.

If I'm not going to work I don't wear makeup at all. If I'm working maybe a light shadow and mascara. If I'm going out I will definitely wear more. I wear a liquid foundation, darker shadows, eye liner, mascara and lipstick.

I wear face make up, blush & eye makeup everyday, so I feel like I look the same when I go out. I will sometimes werar more/darker eyeshadow, and lately, I have been skipping eyeliner for everyday.
I also usuall ysave highlting/contouring for going out.
I am starting to get into wearing false eyelashes more for special occasions.
I bought new ones for a wedding & forgot to bring them with me to the hotel, so I may ear them to a shower this weekend, just because I have them.

My workday eye makeup is always shades of brown, so for going out I would switch to a grey or black liner and change the shadows to either plums or greys, more of the smoky look. Darker lipstick for going out too.

The colors mostly. For everyday I have neutral colors of eye shadow that I use (almay for brown eyes), if I'm going out I might darken the eyeshadow to plums and do a neutral lip or just do eyeliner/mascara and do a red lipstick

I usually just add liner since I don't wear it to work most days, do a little extra foundation, and add color to my lips. I'd prob add another coat of mascara too

Same lid color used as eyeliner on the bottom

Done
The big difference when I do "going out makeup" is the eye and foundation.
I do a primer, foundation, concealer as needed then my BB and Powder
Eyes, I do a lid color, a brown bone color a crease color and eyeliner.
Plus lipstick, I dont wear anything on my lips at work but do when I go out.

It's almost the same.
Day:
Foundation
blush
mascara
liner very light
lip liner
lipstick
maybe gloss
Going out is pretty much the same but different techniques:
primer
powder
foundation (I like that wayne goss technique. I sandwich powder, then foundation, then powder)
blush
liner
mascara
lite shadow
lip liner
lipstick
gloss (but another blotting thing to make it stay on)
I might also use vibrant colors at night that aren't school appropriate.

For day I wear foundation, lip gloss and mascara. For going out I pull out concealer, foundation, eye liner, smokey eye, mascara and lip gloss/stick.

I have my everyday make up which consists of powder, blush, mascara, eyeliner, neutral shadow palett, and gold lip gloss.
My going out make up is everything listed except I use a dark shadow palett and different gloss.

Everyday vs Going Out Makeup
The only thing I do different for going out these days is 3 shadows, top liner, and fuller mascara, lipstick plus gloss.
Other than that,, on your average day, basics: foundation, liner, blush, mascara and a single swipe of a sand-colored shadow across my lids, one lip gloss.

Everyday makeup is:
BB cream
Under eye concelar
Liquid foundation
Bronzer
Blush
Mascara
Tinted lip balm
Nights out/events
Everything mentioned above plus eye shadow, liner, pressed powder and a darker lipgloss, but I tend to usually stay neutral with my lip color regardless of the event. I prefer playing up my eyes.

If i go out at night in addition to work makeup (eye concealor, shadow, liner, brozer, blush) I put on a little more blush and shadow and add mascara and lipliner/gloss. I never wear color on my lips at work.

I go for the no makeup make up look daily.
Moisturizer, primer, concealer, corrector, foundation, powder, blush, lipstick, mascara.
For going out I also wear eyeshadow.

Everyday vs Going Out Makeup
When I do wear makeup to work (which is hardly ever) I usually wear foundation, a little blush and eyeliner.
For events and weekends I wear everything! Foundation, blush, lip gloss, eyeliner, mascara and I play up my eyes with shadow. I like doing a smokey eye.

Both day and night: concealer, powder-press foundation, blush, lash prime plus mascara, gloss or shimmery lip.
What I will add to this for night -- Well, if I have a press conference for work or a presenation for work (anything on camera) and then my night look becomes day. Anyway, eyeliner, eye shadow, lipstick plus gloss, eyebrows penciled in a little darker.
