Please help
I am not a frequent poster but I need advice.
I had a missed miscarriage in July and needed a d&c. We started trying again last month and I got a positive pregnancy test this last Sunday. I have been nauseous on and off. Yesterday I had a sharp pain as I stood up on my lower right side and it took my breath away for a second. This afternoon I have been having cramps in my lower stomach. A little while ago I went to the bathroom and there was brown mucus in the toilet paper. I also took my temperature and it's elevated at 99.7. I also have to pee a lot this afternoon.
Should I be worried that I am miscarrying again?
TIA

Re: Please help
Hi, congrats on the BFP and I'm sorry for your earlier loss. I've been pregnant 6 times myself - 1 very easy healthy pregnancy, 1 chemical, and 4 miscarriages. I'm not an expert but I've been through a lot so I can speak from experience.
Sounds like you should still be optimistic. I wouldn't worry about the pain or cramps. I had sharp pains like that and they were implantation, and the most cramps I had were with my healthy pregnancy. The brown mucus… that could be from the implantation. Or it could turn into more bleeding. There's really no way to know for now. However, it's a good sign that you still have to pee a lot - that was always my first sign that my pregnancies were failing (I always knew it was a bad sign when I slept through the night instead of having to get up and pee once or twice… I'd always start bleeding a few days later). Your raised temp doesn't really tell you anything either way. Even if the pregnancy were failing, your temp wouldn't drop until after you started bleeding. So stop temping and driving yourself crazy!
Remember that even after one m/c, your odds of a healthy second pregnancy are like 80%. The odds are really in your favor here, and brown mucus doesn't sound too ominous. Good luck!

Re: Please help
Summer mom- Thank you for helping alleviate some of my concerns. Today I felt fine. A few cramps here and there but not like yesterday. When I was pregnant with my 2 year old I didn't have any of this happen. I think having suffered with a miscarriage a few months ago it's making me crazy and more nervous.
Good luck to you too!
