Talk to me about insulation
We're in the process of renovating our basement. Sheetrock is down but I noticed there is no mention of insulation in the contract. I'm assuming it's not included  so I need to get a quote from the GC.
The space if approximately 11x22. Do I need fiberglass? celluose?

We just finished insulating & drywalling about 700 sq ft of our basement.
For the ceiling, we had them use 1" closed cell spray insulation, followed by Roxul (Safe & Sound).
The outer walls have 1.5" Rigid foam and the inner walls have Roxul (Safe & Sound.)
We paid $2600 for the spray insulation & Roxul (product & installation) and the Rigid was at least another $1000 more (not including installation because my DH had started that process.)
