Hospital tour @ stonybrook
Anyone know how to schedule or if there is a website - i cant find anything on their site!
And, when did you schedule?

Oh! Theres a number to call...(631) 444-4000. They have tours every Sunday from 5-6 they'll schedule you on a day and then you have to call at 4pm on the day to make sure it is still going on.
We went this past Sunday, I'm 31 weeks.

Its beautiful, but we definitely had an "oh sh!t" moment seeing the place lol. Definitely made it feel more real.
We saw the evaluation room, labor and delivery room and postpartum rooms. We didn't get to see the operating rooms because they were in use. The only reason they cancel a tour is if all the rooms are occupied.

I don't remember how far in advanced I scheduled it. I think my doctor said they only have room for 15 couples per tour.

My practice does their own tours on the first Thursday of every month 7-8pm. We are using the Stonybrook midwives and are going to the tour next week 11/6
