Why go to a 3d sono place?
This is a random question but why do some people go to a random sono place for a 3d/4d sono?
Doesn't your doctor do this anyway?

My drs office doesn't do 3d/4d, so if I wanted one, I'd have to go to one of those places. I didn't think many drs offered them.

most doctors don't do it and it's not covered by insurance.

This. We did it to get a sneak preview of what DS would look like. It was a really cool experience.

Why go to a 3d sono place?
My insurance covers it! I don't know if it's because I'm high risk, but I have 4D pics of my girls every 2 weeks from week 24 on.... With this pregnancy, I have both 20 week and 30 week.

Also they can do a gender scan at these places. I know a lot of doctors (like mine) will only do a 12 week and 20 week big sono. Most of these places can help you find out gender at 16 weeks.

Why go to a 3d sono place?
When I went for my growth sono, the tech quickly (and sneakily) did a 3d/4d sono of his face, we got 3 amazing pictures, 2 of him making the funniest faces because he was cranky that they kept moving him to check my placenta and then the last was him with his eyes closed and sucking his thumb... so incredibly precious.

i didn't realize this. all my dr.'s office does is flip a switch and its a 3d picture.
i didn't know insurance could have a say over 3d or not. thats so dumb
